The Only Resolution You'll Benefit From This Year

If you're like me, you've been trying to figure out how to make your resolutions stick. But let me tell you: It's not about the resolution itself; it's about how we choose to keep those resolutions that count.

Make every day count with a resolution that is easy to keep.

The first step to making a resolution that's easy to keep is making sure it's something you actually want to do. If you're putting off starting a new habit because of a fear of failure, try setting aside some time each day (or at least every week) when you'll sit down and write out the steps involved in completing your goal. This can be as simple as writing down how many days until your deadline is up and what daily routines need improvement or changing before then.

Making resolutions that are simple and easy-to-follow will help ensure success, but they should also have positive impacts on our lives—so make sure they're goals worth striving for!

Just one?

Just one?

You mean, you can't give up on all of your resolutions and choose one without even knowing if it will be worth it? You and I both know it is scary to do so.

Remember: don't try to change too many things at once - it will overwhelm you. Instead, be gentle with yourself and stick to one resolution this year. Don't worry about what other people are doing - they are most likely going through the same if not similar feelings as well (or maybe even worse). And finally...don't forget that we all have room for improvement.

Get consistent. Period.

Be consistent in everything you do or need to in your life.

It’s easy to say that we should do everything we can to improve our bodies, but what does that actually mean? There are a few ways to keep yourself motivated:

  • Celebrate every time you have done one of your workouts (or if it’s more than one) and tell yourself how awesome it was

  • Get more active at home by taking the stairs instead of being lazy like me and taking the elevator up when I had no other choice but take the stairs down again after coming back from work as soon as possible because nobody wants to spend their whole day inside an elevator just waiting for someone else who might still be stuck inside too.

  • Make sure that whatever exercise program or diet plan works best for yourself should suit your personality and situation in life

Journalling as one of the ways to aid you with remaining consistent

Journalling is a great way to start with consistency, but it's not the only way. You can also use other methods such as:

  • Set aside dedicated time each day for your journaling

  • Make sure you have something physical that reminds you of your goal or routine (I use two stones tied together with ribbon)

Consciously evaluate every day

This is the only resolution you'll benefit from this year: consciously evaluate every day. Every morning, lunch-time break, and evening are all great times to reflect on what you need to change in your life.

It's important that you do this with a clear mind so that you can make positive changes if they're needed. If it feels too difficult or boring at first—that's okay! You can always choose a different time of day (or week) later on down the line when things get easier for yourself! And don't worry if it takes a while before working out which areas need improving; once those areas have been identified then consistency will help keep them top notch as well!

Treat consistency like a bank account

If you are serious about your goal of becoming the best version of yourself, then it is important that you start saving regularly. Consistency is the key here, and if there’s one thing I can tell you, it's this—your money won't work for you unless you do!

So let me ask again: what exactly does consistency mean? Well, in simple terms, consistency means that every day or week (or whatever period works for your lifestyle) we must stick with our routine and follow through on what we said we would do. For example: if I told myself that I would go for a run every evening at 8pm sharp then by 9pm sharp I should be at home running; by 10pm sharp all my equipment needs cleaning up before bedtime because going out without doing this will only result in more injuries (and who wants an injury?). Sooner or later these small things add up over time into bigger goals which lead us towards greater things like eating healthy foods instead of grabbing something unhealthy whenever we feel hungry after work hours etcetera...

Is consistency the key to happiness?

If you are seeking happiness, then consistency is the key.

If you define success as your own personal definition of what it means to be successful, then consistency is the key.

Consistency is also an essential part of productivity and confidence; one small step towards a bigger future means that you are ticking those lines off your 'To Do' list! And if you want more confidence in yourself then there's no better feeling than thinking good about your own achievements - whether they be big or small (and yes...that includes those self-loathing ones).

Being consistent will help you become more self-aware.

The first step to becoming consistent is knowing yourself. What tools do you use to help you learn about yourself?

Being self-aware will help you be consistent. It's a win-win situation: your goals are met, and so are yours!

Know yourself, know your purpose

Knowing yourself is the first step to knowing your purpose. It’s important to know what you want from life, and then work toward accomplishing those goals.

Knowing yourself helps us set goals and achieve them

It also helps us get out of our comfort zone by making small steps toward starting tasks that cause anxiety or sadness—but also gives us a sense of accomplishment when we complete them successfully! This can be especially helpful when it comes to accomplishing goals related to self-care: learning how to meditate, cooking healthy meals for yourself (or others!), exercising regularly...the list goes on.

Knowing yourself gives us better decisions - for ourselves and those we deeply care about

And on that note...

It's important to remember that all these tips are just ways to get you started with your resolution. It's also important to remember that no resolution is perfect, and they should be seen as a starting point on the journey towards finding what's right for you and how it fits into other things in your life. If nothing else, though, taking these steps will help keep you on track towards making a change in those areas where you want more happiness in your life!
